Honda Civic Are literally being Sold for 1 Crore
As the Honda Atlas Pakistan Surprised their customers again with its fourth price revision for cars in 2022, Honda has joined the push for price increases, and Civic new costs have increased by more than a million.
Like its rivals, Honda attributed the hike to higher prices for raw materials and a depreciating local currency.
It is important to note that the local automotive industry has been struggling as a result of the ongoing depreciation of the local currency concerning the US dollar as well as the difficulties in obtaining Letters of Credit (LCs) from the State Bank of Pakistan for the import of Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits.
So the Local sellers Also Known as the “Own Mafia” are Selling at a premium of PKR 25 lakhs to PKR 30 lakhs on Civic,
Since the new rates were revealed, locals have begun selling their Honda Civics that are ready to be purchased for about PKR 1 crore Which can be seen in the screenshot attached.

The highest model of the Civic has a new price of PKR 8.1 million, and the delivery date is unknown.
Market opportunists are selling their autos for more than PKR 1,500,000 to 2,500,000 over the original cost by fully using the increased rates.
Vehicles’ Revisions to the Current Price After Following Price Increase :
The first one is Honda City 1.2L MT which Was at PKR 3,264,000 and will Now Cost PKR 4,049,000 with a difference of 785,000
Honda City 1.2L CVT witnessed an increase of PKR 810,000, from PKR 3,389,000 to 4,199,000 PKR
Honda City 1.5L CVT increased by PKR 3,589,000 to PKR 4,439,000 with a difference of PKR 850,000
Honda City 1.5 L Aspire MT increased by PKR 3,729,000 to PKR 4,609,000 with a difference of PKR 880,000
Honda City 1.5 L Aspire CVT increased by PKR 3,899,000 to PKR 4,799,000 with the hike of PKR 900,000
Honda BR-V 1.5 iVTEC S witnessed a hike by PKR 4,249,000 to PKR5,299,000 with a difference of PKR 1,050,000
Honda Civic 1.5T M-CVT increased by PKR 5,549,000 to PKR 6,799,000 with a difference of PKR 1,250,000
Honda Civic Oriel 1.5T M-CVT increased by PKR 5,799,000 to PKR 7,099,000 with a difference of PKR1,300,000
Honda Civic 1.5T RS LL-CVT was formerly priced at PKR 6,649,000 to PKR 8,099,000 with a Price hike of PKR 1,450,000.
It is important to note that Toyota Indus Motor Company (IMC), which is struggling due to the economic crisis as well as restrictions on the import of CKD kits, has also raised indicative pricing for its vehicles. The entity has also disclosed a complete refund with markup payment for clients who cancel orders.
